The application provides racing laboratories and authorities with a secure alternative to manual paperwork, while maintaining full compatibility with the physical documentation supplied in every kit.
Using a smartphone, MARIA allows users to scan kit barcodes to confirm authenticity and validity, ensuring the kit has been issued by an approved laboratory or authority. Digital data entry eliminates transcription errors and automatically records the date, time and GPS location of sample collection. Once complete, the application prompts the user to capture a photographic record of the sealed kit secured within the included tamper-evident bag, providing additional documentary evidence.
MARIA is fully customisable to suit individual laboratory or authority requirements, including branding, editable data fields, dropdown options and multi-language capability. An integrated inventory management function allows laboratories and authorities to monitor kit batches and manage date-related issues for kits in the field. Upon submission, test information is securely transmitted to the relevant laboratory or racing authority, reducing administrative handling, removing filing requirements and ensuring records are captured and retained digitally.
Premium Racing Integrity Kits
Mega Fortris Premium Racing Integrity Kits have been developed for regulated racing environments where security, presentation and chain-of-custody control are critical. The primary kit and sample transport container provide enhanced physical protection through our Mega Secure Box, controlled access to secured contents and structured continuity from deployment to laboratory receipt.
Each kit is customised in consultation with the client to align with laboratory protocols and jurisdictional requirements.
Vacutainer types, bottle configurations, consumables, documentation sets and identification systems can be tailored — delivering a flexible integrity system rather than a fixed bill of materials.
Circular Recovery Program
The Circular Recovery Program is built around the Premium Racing Integrity Kit, housing the outbound kit, securing collected samples and returning them to the laboratory as part of a structured chain-of-custody process.
The container is engineered for controlled multi-cycle use with defined inspection criteria and retirement thresholds. Reuse is deliberate, documented and auditable, ensuring integrity remains the priority at every stage.
Fortris Analytical Services (FAS)
Fortris Analytical Services is Mega Fortris Group’s dedicated forensic testing laboratory established to support analytical services for the racing industry across Asian. Located in Penang, FAS reflects the Group’s long-term commitment to integrity, animal welfare and the advancement of secure testing practices. Fortris Analytical Services operates independently from kit supply, ensuring full impartiality and transparency.”
