Sustainability Framework

The Mega Fortris Sustainability Framework reflects our long‑term commitment to creating value responsibly, ensuring that our products, processes, and business decisions contribute to a more resilient and sustainable future

Sustainability Vision:

“To deliver sustainability solutions that safeguard the integrity of our customers’ products whilst minimizing adverse social and environmental impact”

To drive meaningful progress, we have established three strategic pillars that shape our priorities and guide our actions across the organisation

Sustainability Pillars:

Pillar 1: Innovating Seals for a Sustainable Future

M1: Sustainable Materials

Our Commitment

We are committed to integrating sustainable materials into our products and packaging as part of our ongoing effort to reduce environmental impact. We actively explore eco‑friendly alternatives such as recyclable, biodegradable, and responsibly sourced materials while improving resource efficiency across our operations.

Through these initiatives, we ensure that our solutions remain innovative, high‑performing, and environmentally responsible, supporting our long‑term sustainability goals.

Biodegradable Seals

MFB took a significant step forward in its sustainability journey by integrating the BioSphere® bio-additive across all product lines containing plastic content. This marks a transformative shift from simply manufacturing secure and durable products to creating solutions that also contribute positively to environmental health.

M2: Product Safety and Quality

Our Commitment

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of product safety and quality. Every product we design and manufacture undergoes stringent quality control procedures, regulatory compliance checks, and continuous improvement processes to ensure reliability and performance across all industries we serve.

By adhering to internationally recognised standards and certifications, we not only protect our customers’ goods but also safeguard the trust placed in our brand, delivering secure, dependable, and high‑quality solutions that consistently meet and exceed expectations.

Delivering Security with Excellence

MFB designs and manufactures a comprehensive portfolio of high-security and indicative seals, tamper evident packaging solutions, and specialist security products that meet the most stringent global performance and sustainability standards.

Pillar 2: Operating Ethically to Fulfil Environmental Responsibility

M3: Energy Management and Carbon Management

Our Commitment

MFB is committed to managing and reducing its carbon footprint in line with international sustainability standards. We recognise that climate change presents both risks and opportunities for our business, and we are taking proactive measures to mitigate emissions while strengthening long‑term operational resilience.

As energy consumption is one of our most material environmental considerations, closely linked to operational efficiency, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and overall climate impact. We prioritise effective energy management as a core sustainability responsibility.

All emissions data and calculations presented have been independently verified by an external party in accordance with ISO 14064‑3:2019, confirming full compliance with the GHG Protocol – Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard.

Our ultimate goal is to eliminate workplace incidents, achieved through structured risk management, strong leadership oversight, and a culture of safety ownership at every level.

Training & Awareness

We believe safety starts with education. Every new team member completes a mandatory safety induction, ensuring safe practices from day one. MFB continuously invests in health and safety training programs to enhance awareness, strengthen prevention capabilities, and keep our workforce informed and prepared.

M9: Labour Practices and Human Rights

Our Commitment

We are unwavering in our commitment to respecting human rights and upholding fair labour standards, in line with our sustainability pillar: Respecting Human Rights and Practicing Fair Labour Practices. This commitment is embedded in our company policies, employee code of conduct, supply chain protocols, and stakeholder engagement frameworks.

Our approach aligns with globally recognized standards, including the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and International Labour Organization (ILO) Conventions.

Upholding Human Rights and Dignity

MFB enforces a zero-tolerance policy against forced labour, child labour, discrimination, harassment, and unsafe working conditions through our Human Rights, Slavery, and Human Trafficking Policy. All employees, contractors, and suppliers are required to comply with these standards.

M10: Human Capital Development

Our Commitment

MFB adopts a systematic and inclusive approach to capability building, empowering every employee regardless of role or function to reach their full potential. Training needs are identified through a formal Training Needs Analysis (TNA) conducted annually in collaboration with department heads, ensuring alignment with performance goals and operational objectives.

M11: Community Engagement and Relations

Our Commitment

Community outreach is a core component of our social sustainability commitment. Guided by our mission to strengthen corporate social responsibility, we strive to uplift and support the communities around us. Our initiatives are built on three key pillars: Community Wellbeing, Education, and Environmental Stewardship.
